The New York Giants will play the Dallas Cowboys at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Sept. 5 in week 1 of the NFL games.

They open the NFL season on Wednesday and though they are "viewed widely as underdogs in the NFL," according to the Bleacher Report, they have brought back all their star players that helped in their Super Bowl victory. The big names returning include Jason Pierre-Paul, Eli Manning and Victor Michael Cruz.

The site predicted that the reigning Super Bowl champions will take home the win against the Cowboys because of their strong defense.

Live streaming of the games is available on ESPN's site and all games will air live on television. The Giants vs. Cowboys game can also be seen online at NBC's Sunday Night Football All Access website.

A poll posted on the official site of the NFL Games shows the Giants voted most likely to win the game, with a 60 percent chance over the Cowboys, who came in with 40 percent, recorded at time of publication.

Even so, Fox Sports ranked the Giants No. 8 overall in their NFL power rankings. The Cowboys are ranked at 13.

The Games will continue at 1 p.m. starting Sunday, Sept. 9, airing on NBC, FOX, ESPN or CBC.

ESPN.com's NFL Power Ranking placed The New England Patriots second, in the running to enter the regular football season. They were the only AFC East team to rank higher than No. 19.
