QVC host Dan Hughes proved that no matter what happens on live television, the show must go on.

Hughes and his guest host, Cassie Slane, were on QVC hawking a kid-friendly Android tablet on Sunday, Oct. 7 until the mother-of-three began to pat her chest and experience difficulty breathing.

Suddenly, Slane slumped over into Hughes' arms, and thanks to some quick thinking, a QVC editor cut to a full-screen shot of the product they were selling.

According to some reports, what was more shocking than Slane fainting, which is shown in the Youtube video at the :48 second mark, was the fact that Hughes continued talking about the product. Hughes remained the consummate professional and made no mention of Slane's unexpected health-related issue.

On Monday, Oct. 8, Slane posted on her Facebook page, "Thanks everyone for your kind words. I am feeling a lot better today!"

Neither Slane or Hughes released a statement as to what happened.

When a fan posted an inquiry on QVC's Facebook page, QVC replied, "Our on-air guest Cassie had a brief fainting spell. We are pleased to report that she is feeling fine now."

Fellow QVC host Carolyn Gracie also addressed concerns from a QVC fan by making a statement on her Facebook page.

"She had a couple of fainting spells due to low blood sugar," wrote Gracie. "Poor thing. She is such a nice girl."
