Cardellini, who plays Meg Rayburn on the Netflix series, spoke with Good Morning America recently about the weather down in the Florida Keys and how uncomfortable it became after awhile.

"We were shooting - the Everglades are protected, so are the mangroves. But it comes with some dangerous things and some uncomfortable things," Cardellini noted. "So the mosquitoes are pretty big."

She recalled, "One of the cameramen had a suit from head to toe of net, and he was the only one who survived without a bug bite, so I got online that night and ordered one. It looks pretty ridiculous but it saves you."

The 39-year-old actress has been a part of many award-winning series in the past, including ER and Mad Men, the latter of which earned her an Emmy nomination. Now with Bloodline, some critics are reportedly comparing the show to HBO's massively influential drama The Sopranos.

"Wow I think that's enormously flattering and that's great," Cardellini said in reaction to that comparison. "This show's about a family as well, so I think that's where the comparisons come, and it's very layered and explores different family dynamics."

The two shows also have a similar dynamic in that the mobsters in The Sopranos had waste management as their big cover-up to hide their illegal activity while Bloodline has the inn, with many members of the Rayburn family covering up secrets.

The first season of Bloodline is currently available to stream on Netflix Instant.
