Falling Skies' penultimate episode will be one wild ride.
The series' is fast approaching its conclusion, but the 2nd Mass' problems will only increase as the final battle inches closer. Pope (Colin Cunningham) isn't about to disembark the crazy train any time soon, and the rouge fighter will be gunning for Tom (Noah Wyle) and Ben (Connor Jessup) makes a risky play in "Reunion."
"Tom gains a powerful new weapon against the Espheni. Ben puts his life on the line to extract enemy plans," TNT teased. "Pope discovers that Tom is alive, and launches a final attack. Meanwhile, the 2nd Mass must reassess their situation when an unexpected visitor appears."
Just as Pope's rage has taken him from mere antagonist to outright villain, Tom's fierce desire to take down the Espheni will cause him to take major risks with his family.
"As we get towards the end of the series, there definitely becomes for Ben this position where we're building towards the obvious climax and he has the ability to get information and stuff that other characters can't - but obviously at personal cost to himself and personal danger," Jessup told Enstarz at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday. "This is the kind of stuff where, in the past, Tom would have been like, 'You can't do that. It's not worth risking you life.' Now it's totally flipped; he's the one pushing for it."
