Cochise has some familial problems to solve before the credits role on Falling Skies.

'Falling Skies' Season 5: Is Pope More Dangerous Than The Aliens? Cast Teases Greatest Threat

Father/son drama isn't a solely human trait - it plagues Volm families as well. The 2nd Mass witnessed a smidgen of Cochise and his father's volatile relationship back in seasons 3 and 4, but the alien's paternal problems will come to a head in "Pope Breaks Bad" (see video below)

"[Episode 4] is mostly my storyline, which they rarely do with my character," Jones told EnStars at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday. "That's the Cochise episode. I'll be reunited with my dad, my dad Waschak-cha'ab - also played by me.... There's one long scene where we have a little bit of an argument, because I have my daddy issues on the show, as has been established before."

Cochise has always wanted to lend a helping hand to the human race, and Jones' character stayed on Earth after most of the Volm departed. It appears Tom Mason's (Noah Wyle) most loyal ET is not about to abandon the 2nd Mass just as they are on the cusp of victory.

"There's some resolve and some resolution with those daddy issues [during] that episode, so you'll see that," Jones teased. "It's a very heartwarming episode. You'll laugh; you'll cry."

Will Cochise be able to get his father to dive headfirst into the last leg of the Espheni battle, or will humanity's resistance effort flag without a little more Volm tech? Find out when Falling Skies airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TNT.
