ABC has released the first minute of the season 5 premiere online, and as promised, the show is picking up exactly where it left off in the season 4 finale. Emma is shown disappearing into darkness, with Regina (Lana Parrilla), Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin), Charming (Josh Dallas), Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), Henry (Jared Gilmore) and Robin (Sean Maguire) reacting.

As the characters are left in stunned silence, Regina suddenly blurts out, "How could she be so stupid?"

When Snow protests that she actually saved Regina's life, Regina replies, "Don't you think I know that?"

The group argues over Emma's sudden decision, with Henry realizing that she is the Dark One now. Hook goes over to the dagger left behind in Emma's wake. He picks it up and commands Emma to return.

"Dark One, with this dagger I command thee. Return!" he pleads, to no avail.

Hook says that he is able to command the Dark One to appear from any corner of the world, but Regina tells him that this means Emma is no longer in this world. The clip then cuts off, leaving fans to wonder what will happen next.

Will the Storybrooke crew be able to save Emma or will it be too late? Only time will tell.

Once Upon a Time season 5 premieres Sunday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
