Two Disney princesses are going "on an adventure" together in the upcoming fifth season of ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Belle (Emilie de Ravin) is set to go on a journey with none other than Merida (guest star Amy Manson) from Brave, according to a new TVLine report.

"We've always wondered what would happen if Belle and Merida went on an adventure together...," Once Upon a Time executive producer Adam Horowitz told the publication. "We hope you do, too, because it's coming!"

The report also said that according to the show's cast, Manson "hits the bull's-eye" when playing Merida.

Additionally, Once Upon a Time producers are hoping to cast the role of Sir Lionel, one of the knights at King Arthur's Round Table. He would appear in episode 5. The new season is set to introduce the world of Camelot, with appearances by King Arthur, Guinevere, Merlin and more.

As for our main characters, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will have succumbed to darkness by the time season 5 rolls around. Fans last saw her enveloped in darkness with only the Dark One's dagger left behind with her name on it. It will be up to Regina (Lana Parrilla), Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin), Charming (Josh Dallas) and Henry (Jared Gilmore) to bring her back to the side of the light.

Once Upon a Time season 5 premieres Sunday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
