A new trailer for the fourth season of Continuum became available- and it's kind of chilling.

'Continuum' Actress Says She's Going To 'Miss' The Series

Released on Wednesday, the trailer plays a rather spine-tingling rendition of "Rock-a-Bye Baby" while showing the intensity the series is about to deliver. Kiera is still on her quest to return home with no absolution of how that might happen. Alec is looking pretty distressed as well as he stands on top of a building just staring out at the city.

There are also going to be villains who will stop at nothing to get what they want. And from their facial expressions, they don't seem the least bit threatened.

The trailer then shows blood along with people being pushed off buildings and Kiera waking up on a bed with bright lighting around her. She also looks upset as she dumps ashes outside.

The lullaby is playing during the full montage with implications that whatever happens in the battle, it won't be easy and it won't be free of fear. It's been a long journey for Kiera in her time travel as she goes through more obstacles she must overcome. Since this will be the final season for the sci-fi series, there will likely be some kind of epic conclusion that will leave viewers satisfied. And there is only so much time left before everyone finds out what that big moment will be.

Continuum returns to the United States on Friday, September 11 on Showcase.
