'Continuum' Actor Says Final Episodes 'Will Not Disappoint'

On Thursday, series creator Simon Barry took to his Twitter page to show the new sci-fi pic for all the fans to see. Kiera has part of her face in sight as she can be seen in front of a figure with a weapon. As she continues her quest to return home, the poster implies there will be more obstacles for her to come across as time goes on.

It was announced last December that Continuum would be getting a fourth season to finish up its intense storylines. Rachel Nichols (Kiera) opened up on how stoked she is to be able to work on the series for one final hurrah.

"All great stories deserve an end," the actress said via Carter Matt. "I am excited and grateful to finish 'Continuum' with the riveting conclusion it deserves...this series finale is dedicated to the devoted fans who have loyally supported us since day one."

Christine Shipton, Senior Vice President at Shaw Media, also pointed out how the final moments of the series will be worth watching.

"Continuum's award-winning success on Showcase is a testament to the quality of our Canadian original productions...with executive producer Simon Barry at its helm, the fourth and final season of 'Continuum' is bound to deliver a heroic conclusion to the futuristic series," Shipton said.

Continuum Season 4 is expected to premiere in the United States on Friday, September 11 on Showcase.
