The latest rumored cast member of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta is stirring up lots of attention for the show as it is said to be the first transgendered person to join the series; now an insider reveals just how much of a role they will play.

Cynthia Bailey & Peter Thomas Finances Allegedly Take Another Hit

They told E! News Tuesday that Amiyah Scott who is a transgender mode from New Orleans born as Arthur, is indeed set to be on the show and has already taped the first scene.

“Amiyah is a friend of Kenya’s. She was at an event that Kenya threw last night,” they said of Moore’s special launch of her haircare line. “So she filmed last night. Other than that, she’s having conversations with production. Talks are happening but it’s too soon to say what will come of it.”

Facts of Life and Living Single actress Kim Fields also filmed with the ladies for the first time at Moore’s event. She does actually have the Housewife title and the insider went on to say, “Anything can happen,” as Fields is rumored to be a huge part of the season.

Porsha Williams, Moore, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey are also expected to return along with Sheree Whitfield who left the show after its fourth season. All of this comes just weeks after NeNe Leakes announced her departure from the show. Leakes friend turned arch nemesis turned Moore’s friend, Marlo Hampton, is also rumored to be having several appearances on the series now that Leakes is gone.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns later this year.
