Following the release of her latest mug shot, which was shared online after her assault arrest last month, the Teen Mom 2 star spoke out against rumors, claiming the scabs on her face were the result of meth use.

“I know a lot of people have been saying I’m on drugs, but I am definitely not,” Evans told Rumorfix on Tuesday. “Because I have acne [in the photo], everyone’s like ‘she’s on meth! She’s on menth’ — but, no! And come to find out it was ‘my time of the month’ right after I got out of jail so I was like’that’s what’s going on!’But now [my acne] is all cleared up…but around ‘that time’ my face just goes crazy!”

Evans, who was in Southern California over the weekend to attend the MTV Video Music Awards with her mother, Barbara Evans, went on to assure the new site she was “definitely not” on drugs.

“I wouldn’t be here right now if I was — I wouldn’t have been able to make it to LA," she explained.
