Agent Miller Is 'Not Entirely Truthful' While Investigating Booth's Disappearance on 'Bones' Next Season?

With Brennan and Booth (David Boreanaz) leaving their respective posts at the Jeffersonian and FBI, their co-workers will be left to pick up the pieces. One of those co-workers is Arastoo, who will take over Brennan's position in his own way.

Bones show runner Michael Peterson spoke with Entertainment Weekly in a new report posted Friday, revealing that Arastoo will be affected by Brennan's absence and subsequent return.

Brennan & New Agent 'Absolutely Clash' On 'Bones' Next Season

"Arastoo is the main intern who has taken over," Peterson said. "He's really filled in for Brennan in her absence. Eventually Brennan will come back, but what that means for Cam [Tamara Taylor] and Arastoo is very interesting."

Peterson previously spoke about Arastoo taking over the Jeffersonian in season 11, adding that what happens in the first few episodes brings on challenges with him and Cam.

"In the six months since Brennan left, Arastoo has pretty much been the main person taking over the lab," Peterson told TVLine back in August. "With everything [that happens] in the first two episodes, it's going to be a challenge for their relationship."

Booth is set to go missing in the season premiere, and Special Agent Grace Miller (guest star Kim Raver) is brought in to help lead the search.

Bones season 11 premieres Thursday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
