One of the biggest stories regarding celebrity couples involved Hollywood's top earning actress and her on and off-screen love, Robert Pattinson. Kristen Stewart, stayed in the spotlight months before the release of the final "Twilight" film, after photos leaked of her embracing and kissing married director Rupert Sanders in July. Sanders had directed the 22-year-old in "Snow White and The Huntsman."

The attached parties immediately issued public apologies when the news broke. Stewart, for "the hurt and embarrassment" she caused and Sanders, 41, for "the pain (he) caused (his) family." The scandal was even more shocking because Sanders' wife, Liberty Ross, played the role of "Queen Eleanor," Stewart's mother, in the film that was released just a month prior to the shocking revelation.

Stewart and Pattinson moved out of their shared home after the cheating scandal. The affair had ended their near four year relationship. However, in September, rumors surfaced that the pair had secretly reconciled. There were spottings of the pair which confirmed speculation they they were indeed in the process of patching things up. The rekindled romance was confirmed when they appeared at the red carpet premiere for their last project together, "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2" in Los Angeles in November. The couple sent the crowd - "Twi-hards" who camped over night for days to see them in person for the last time - into a tizzy when they kissed after they arrived.

It seems Snow White got her fairy tale ending after all.
