The Agents of SHIELD will be out to protect as many Inhumans as possible this fall, even the ones who don't want their help.

Lincoln (Luke Mitchell), unfortunately, will fall into the latter camp. Jiaying (Cichen Lachman) worked hard to inculcate her Inhumans with a fear of SHIELD, and despite her duplicity, Sparkplug will fear that her message will still ring true now that powered people are cropping up across the globe.

This aversion to SHIELD won't end well for Mitchell's character. By time episode 3 rolls around, the good doctor will be in serious trouble. Daisy's (Chloe Bennet) Secret Warriors will have to save Lincoln once more in "A Wanted (Inhu)man," and hopefully this time they won't have to sacrifice their ride to do so.

"Mack (Henry Simmons), Daisy and Coulson (Clark Gregg) race against time to keep Lincoln safe; Hunter (Nick Blood) will do whatever it takes to get revenge," ABC teased of the October episode.

Despite these dire straights, Lincoln will not make SHIELD's job any easier.

"Lincoln will definitely be playing with the other people, but whether he's playing nice or not remains to be seen," Mitchell teased, according to Zap2It.
