There's a good reason why Tori Spelling is suing the Benihana Corporation. There's a new report that says the Hollywood actress has been out of work ever since she suffered third-degree burns while falling backwards in a Hibachi grill last April.

Now, there's a report that says Spelling is telling her friends and family that she is unable to find work because of her physical setbacks.

According to Naughty Gossip on Monday, Spelling is suffering from terrible nerve damage and often feels numbness in her right hand.

Kristen Taekman's Husband Releases A Statement Regarding His Ashley Madison Account

According to TMZ earlier this month, Spelling's lawsuit says that she suffered from wage loss, general damages and racked up huge medical expenses because of her "deep second and third degree burn injuries."

Although, her critics though think that she might be doing this just for the money as she and her husband Dean McDermott have been going through a financial crisis these past couple of years.

One commenter wrote, "Predicted! This broad is broke and anything helps including suing a company for damages caused by her own stupidity," while another posted, "The grill that burnt her was in her way rather than her falling backwards into a space reserved for the kitchen/grill area. I have never seen a grill where a customer is so close to a grill as to burn her-/his self. What was she doing in a restricted area? Then again - any scam will do to make some coins!"

Another critic wrote, "Evidently her bank account has dwindled to nothing. She is probably out of work and nobody beating her doors down for a job. Need to make some quick money. Contingency basis for the lawyer. The judge will see thru this one quickly and give it a toss."
