The burns might speak for themselves, but apparently people still can't help but question Tori Spelling's motives for suing popular Hibachi restaurant chain, Benihana. The Hollywood actress filed a lawsuite against the company after she allegedly trip and fell backwards on a Hibachi grill during Easter dinner last year and now fans are wondering why she's suing the entire corporation, rather than just the location where the accident occurred.

Tori Spelling News: Dean McDermott's Wife Has Been A 'Great Help' To 'RHONY' Kristen Taekman

According to TMZ this past week, Spelling's lawsuit says that she suffered from wage loss, general damages and racked up huge medical expenses because of her "deep second and third degree burn injuries."

Her critics though think that she might be doing this just for the money as she and her husband Dean McDermott have been going through a financial crisis these past couple of years.

Kristen Taekman's Husband Releases A Statement Regarding His Ashley Madison Account

One commenter wrote, "Predicted! This broad is broke and anything helps including suing a company for damages caused by her own stupidity," while another posted, "The grill that burnt her was in her way rather than her falling backwards into a space reserved for the kitchen/grill area. I have never seen a grill where a customer is so close to a grill as to burn her-/his self. What was she doing in a restricted area? Then again - any scam will do to make some coins!"

Another critic wrote, "Evidently her bank account has dwindled to nothing. She is probably out of work and nobody beating her doors down for a job. Need to make some quick money. Contingency basis for the lawyer. The judge will see thru this one quickly and give it a toss."

So far, Spelling herself has not made any comments about the lawsuit.
