The episode airing today, Oct. 8, will pick up with Adam in police custody.

In the sneak peek video that's below for the episode, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will offer Adam representation since he is a lawyer and a good one at that.

"And you want to be my lawyer?" Adam asks Michael in the visiting room, which prompts Michael to state, "Yes."

Why is Michael offering his services to Adam, knowing mostly all of the other Genoa City residents are against him? Well, according to Soaps, Michael believes everyone is deserving of proper representation and Jack (Peter Bergman) will encourage Adam to take the offer.

Adam will wind up accepting Michael as his lawyer as long as he can use Michael's phone to call Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and tell her to forget him.

Other Genoa City residents won't be so kind toward Adam though. Kevin (Greg Rikarrt) for instance wants to kill Adam.

In the sneak peek Kevin tells Victor (Eric Braeden), "I want to kill your son!"

He won't be doing that though. Instead Kevin will be focusing on how to stop the Paragon Project.

Also in the sneak peek, Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) will be discussing Adam's confession.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
