While it seemed like Daniel Goddard was all healed up since his stunt injury happened on set of The Young and the Restless last month, it turns out he's still in the healing process.

After sustaining a major injury on Sept. 18, in which Goddard broke his elbow during the shooting of "a fight scene," he soon after had surgery, which put his "elbow back together."

On Thursday the actor returned to set to resume his portrayal of Cane Ashby, but it turns out he's actually still in a cast and not totally healed, though he is well enough to be back on set.

Friday The Young and the Restless Twitter account shared a snap of the actor in the "School Room," which we believe is the room on set where the child and teen actors and actresses report for school on set.

He still has the cast on his entire arm and looks to be reading scripts, but he is "on the mend," which is really great news considering how bad his injury was.

On Sunday he dished some news on what's to come for his recovery, which includes his cast getting changed this Tuesday (Oct. 6), which will be followed by "another 6 weeks in the new one."

He also thanked everyone who has reached out to him since the injury occurred. He claims the "support keeps me going!"

We're glad to hear he's in such good spirits!

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
