It appears the widely circulated poem about Blue Ivy Carter, was actually written by blogger Renee Gardner, circulated by Perez Hilton the source was not given.

Representative close to Jay-Z when asked to comment about the poem by E! News, responded that the alleged poem is not written by Jay-Z, adding "No word how the lyrics made it online, but it wasn't from the rap mogul."
