After noticing the details of the auctioned Jay-Z treasure at the "JAY-Z: The Book of HOV" exhibition at the Brooklyn Public Library, speculations regarding a new project by the artist started to circulate online.

The auctioned item was a limited edition black leather trophy case highlighting each of Jay-Z's 13 albums. The item was signed by the 53-year-old rap icon.

While there are only 13 studio albums in Jay-Z's discography, there are 14 slots in the trophy case. The 14th card slot next to "4:44" -- the rapper's latest album, released in June 2017 -- contained a Book of HOV card.

Because of this detail, speculations regarding a new album surfaced. TMZ even said "Book of HOV" sounds nice for an album title.

However, Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded by Jay-Z in 2008, hasn't given a confirmation yet whether a new album by the rapper is coming soon.

When the exhibit opened in July, one X user tweeted, "The 'Book of HOV' better be the name of the new album also, not just an exhibit."

Meanwhile, another user commented on Roc Nation's tweet about the Jay-Z exhibit, saying, "[It's] almost album time." The same user wrote in another tweet, "When HOV drops 'The Book Of HOV' album on his birthday and performs it at the Perelman Performing Arts Center, I think I deserve at least one thank you from somebody, anybody."

The "Book of HOV" exhibit honoring Jay-Z's works will be up until Dec. 4, Monday.

It is free and open to the public during the Central Library's regular operating hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays to Saturdays, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. However, when the exhibition is at full capacity, visitors will have to wait to be admitted.

The Brooklyn Central Library is located at 10 Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn, NY 11238.

For Jay-Z fans who wish to get memorabilia from the exhibit, they can get and collect all 13 limited-edition library cards at different libraries across Brooklyn. The availability of library cards is different per location.

Per the Brooklyn Public Library, the Central Library is currently offering the "Hard Knock Life" library card.
