Todd Chrisley might have lost the latest legal battle with his son, Kyle, after a judge ruled that Todd is no longer his guardian. But Kyle still has a long fight ahead of him.

That’s because his two-year-old daughter, Chloe, is still living with Todd and his wife, Julie. Unlike guardianship over Kyle, which Todd might have been happy to give up, Todd doesn’t plan on letting his granddaughter go so easily.

An insider revealed recently, “Simply put, Todd has the final decision making authority for all legal decisions for Chloe when the parties cannot agree. Further, Kyle does not have the capacity to make legal decisions on behalf of himself or Chloe.”

Which Famous Actress Has Sued Julie Chrisley?

Since then, that has changed as Todd lost guardianship of Kyle. But it looks like he still has control over Chloe. Which if you ask Todd, that’s what’s best for Chloe.

“Chloe calls Julie her ‘Meme’ and she calls me her ‘Papa,” Todd said once. “This child is the happiest baby you could ever have around. That is with 30 people in the house virtually all the time filming. With housekeepers and two assistants that work with me and Julie to verify what kind of home that Chloe lives in.”

He added that she is enrolled in private Christian school and he covers her clothing and of course food.

Interestingly enough, Kyle has said in the past that he’s not a fan of his daughter being on reality television as she often makes appearances in Chrisley Knows Best. He has said that he believes Todd is using her as a pawn for better ratings. He went as far as saying that because she is bi-racial (her mother is African American), Todd hoped that she would help the show tap into more diverse viewers.

Todd added, “It’s sad that this child has a parent that wants to play these kind of games. It’s sad. It breaks my heart. It breaks my entire family’s heart because - at some point- we are going to have to tell this chid why she is not with her dad.”
