It doesn't seem like it now, but Dawsey's feelings of loss and sadness will eventually fade away, even if the memory of their lost baby will not.

"It's a bit of a reset for their relationship," executive producer Matt Olmstead told TV Line. "They're still a couple, and we have storylines coming up that are going to further galvanize them as a couple. But this isn't the beginning of the end for them because of what happened. It brings them together more closely."

Ironically, it will be as House 51 starts to crumble that the couple will start to find the lighter side of their partnership once more. It will take some time to get there, however.

"We're still leaning on each other," Jesse Spencer (Casey) teased. "We haven't got to the lighter stuff yet. Me, personally, I'm looking forward to it."
