According to a new report, the couple has been facing marital issues recently, which have only been increased by the fact that 36-year-old Madden was reportedly spotted out for lunch with a mystery woman in Beverly Hills, Calif.

“They got into a nuclear fight about it,” an insider revealed to OK! Magazine on Wednesday, adding that Madden's alleged flirting with his The Voice Australia judge Jessie J isn't helping things either. “They can’t stop flirting. They don’t even try to hide it!”

The report went on to reveal Madden's alleged flirting with Jessie J, and his Beverly Hills mystery woman, have led to heated arguments between the Good Charlotte rocker and his designer wife.

“Things have been tense between them for a while, but now they can’t be in the same room without fighting,” the source explained.

“Nicole has some serious issues with the way Joel lives his life," the source continued. "She’s been begging him for years to cut down on the drinking and partying. He gets the most horrific hangovers, which only makes their fights worse. But he can’t take her lecturing him — he feels like he’s married to his mom!”

Richie and Madden share two children together, son Sparrow and daughter Harlow.
