Casting rumors surrounding the film adaptation of E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" continue to circulate the Internet at a rapid rate.  As the list of Christian Grey candidates continues to grow in length, one seemingly unlikely name recently added as a potential suitor for the role of the S&M-crazed billionaire is "Harry Potter's" Daniel Radcliffe.

Although it may be difficult for most "Fifty Shades" loyalists, let alone Potter fans to fathom the 23-year-old getting his groove on in the Red Room of Pain, such a predicament actually wouldn't anything foreign for the seemingly type-casted Hogwarts wizard.

Radcliffe recently starred as poet Allen Ginsburg in the film "Kill Your Darlings," in which he participates in a gay love scene that involves him locking lips with male costar Dane DeHaan.  The flick had premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 28.

To top it off, the English actor told Gossip Cop on Jan. 20 that partaking in a homosexual sequence as a straight man was for the most part, no skin off his back.

"For me, there's something very strange about that because we see straight sex scenes all the time. We've seen gay sex scenes before. And I don't know why a gay sex scene should be any more shocking than a straight sex scene. Or both of them are equally un-shocking," he said.

Other fan favorites for the Grey role include "Les Miserables" Eddie Redmayne, "Vampire Diaries'" Ian Somerhalder, "Gossip Girl's" Chace Crawford and "Twilight's" Robert Pattinson, among many others.

Up until this point, the producers attached to the film have remained discreet on their casting approach. Early in 2012, Focus Features and Universal Pictures purchased the rights to the "Fifty Shades."  The racy novel has now sold well over 60 million copies and the movie is expected to do just as well.
