The third season hasn't even finished yet and it's already been announced if there will be a renewal for The Fosters.

Chatter On An 'Adorkable' Character On 'The Fosters'

On Monday, Deadline announced that the series will indeed be renewed for a fourth season. Considering that a lot has been happening in the past year, there is still lots more that fans can expect.

"We have so many more stories to tell about The Fosters family," ABC Family EVP Karey Burke said. "These incredible characters have come into our lives and touched so many- from Stef and Lena's wedding to the adoptions of Callie and Jude."

When Is 'The Fosters' Supposed To Return With New Episodes?

The site mentioned that the show became the number one scripted series on cable in the Monday night at 8pm time slot with 2.1 million viewers.

The last episode of the series involved Callie wondering if she would ever be adopted by Stef and Lena. Since she had just slept with Brandon, who would be her foster brother, that would jeopardize everything. But it all worked out in the end and Callie became an official Foster.

There is also speculation on what's next for Jude and Connor since they had a blossoming romance and eventually became boyfriends. But now that Connor's going to be living with his mother far away from Jude, they're going to try to work out a long distance relationship.

The Fosters is expected to return on Monday, January 25 on Freeform (now known as ABC Family).
