While Apollo Nida continues his federal prison sentence, his oldest Ayden has started his first day of Kindergarten, which leaves Nida’s wife and Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks in tears.

Phaedra Parks Refuses To Move On From Apollo Nida

Avid viewers have all seen Ayden grow up on the show as Parks was pregnant with him when she joined the show in its third season. Now that Nida is serving time in jail, we’re also seeing many of the moments in his life that Nida is missing out on.

In a clip for the next episode, Parks is dropping of Ayden for his first day of school. He admits he’s “scared” which gets Parks emotional.

“He’s growing up. He’s not a baby anymore.”

But Ayden says in the most precious voice ever, “I’m still gonna be your baby.”

A teary eyed Parks remembers some of Ayden’s best moments and said, “It’s just a lot,” while wiping her tears. She manages to squeeze out a prayer asking for “strength” for both her and Ayden.

“Mommy’s gotta pull it together,” she said before dropping him off at his new school.

Ayden is the oldest of two. The youngest son Dylan’s biggest moments have also played out on the show.

Thankfully Nida will be able to witness the moments he’s missing by watching reruns of the show when he is released.

He is currently serving an eight year sentence after he pleaded guilty for fraud charges including identity theft. The scam he participated in racked in a little more than $2 million.
