Hollywood was in shock after actor Charlie Sheen came forward about having HIV. He's faced a tremendous amount of backlash. However, the actor is determined to get better and has been seeking treatment ever since.

People reports that The Two and a Half Men appeared on The Dr. Oz Show to announce that he's leaving for Mexico to find an alternative treatment and will be going off his meds in the process.

"I've been off my meds for about a week now. Am I risking my life? Sure. So what? I was born dead. That part of it doesn't phase me at all," Sheen explained.

After getting in touch with a Dr. Sam Chachoua - who is not licensed to practice in the U.S., Sheen is reportedly back on his meds after seeing the Mexican doctor.

 "Charlie is back on his meds. He tried a cure from a doctor in Mexico but the minute the numbers went up, he started taking his medicine," Sheen's manager Mark Burg tells said.
