Her grandmother named Astrid will wake up from a coma with no recollection of what's been happening with her family's money scandal. So Caroline tries to hide this by giving her a fancy luncheon.
But considering that a lot of secrets refuse to stay hidden on this series, odds are likely it might get out- or, it might at least come close to that.

In fact, a sneak peek below gives insight on what's about to go down. Max and Caroline are at work when Astrid's granddaughter is happy to discover one of her relatives is not only alive, but also not behind bars.
What interests Max about Astrid is how much money she might be worth. She also wonders why Caroline knew someone who was in a coma, but she didn't get to have her own little fun with that.
Considering that Caroline came from a rich family only to have that all go to waste, her grandma might find it hard to accept that one of her relatives had to take a job at the diner to support herself. But only time will tell how that really goes.
