'2 Broke Girls' Actress Is 'Getting Strong' For Fifth Season

On Thursday, CNY Central announced that the CBS sitcom wanted to cast a Barbara Streisand impersonator, and luckily that wish came true- Jimmy Wachter, who's impersonated the iconic singer for years, will be guest starring on the series in the fourth episode of the fifth season.

It turns out that Wachter has a friend in Hollywood who is also an agent, which helped him land the guest appearance.

"The producer wanted me to send in a new video, so we went into my backyard, taped something, sent it off and then two days later they called me and gave me the job," the impersonator said.

Wachter eventually realized how much time and effort is put into filming just one episode of the series.

"It all goes pretty quick," he said. "They give you three rehearsal days and then they shoot some scenes on one day and that is not in front of a live audience. Then they bring in the live audience on the final day. We were there for twelve hours for a 21-minute episode."

Is there any chance that Streisand, herself, might watch the episode?

"I hope she does," Wachter said. "I hope she calls me up to say she doesn't really act like that. The episode is hysterical, I can't wait to see it. The jokes are really funny."

2 Broke Girls Season 5 premieres this fall on CBS.
