Carly Rae Jepsen recently released the music video for her song Tonight I'm Getting Over You and the clip follows the pop singer as she falls for a bad-boy ex-boyfriend again and again.

In the video Jepsen watches old home videos of her and her former beau on repeat, reminiscing about both the good and bad times they shared. She decides to get over the guy, even though the decision ends up upsetting her, and the song then takes a turn into a more dance-floor beat than her past tune Call Me Maybe.

In the end the two seem to have reconciled as they share kisses but viewers are left wondering if it is another memory of Jepsen's or reality.

Tonight I'm Getting Over You is Jepsen's fourth single from her 2012 debut album Kiss. The 27-year-old already released the Grammy-nominated Call Me Maybe, her Owl City collaboration Good Time and also This Kiss.

Jepsen received two nominations at the 2013 Grammy Awards that aired earlier in February: Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, She is up for Favorite Song at the Kid's Choice Awards, set to air on March 23.

I wanna smash your fears
And get drunk in off your tears
Don't you share your smile with anyone else but me
I wanna touch your heart
I wanna crash it in my hands
Make a plea, and cry
As you give up all the lies

We're not lovers, but more than friends
Put our flame to every single word you ever said
No more crying, to get me through
I keep dancing til the morning with somebody new

Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Over you, o-over you

[beat break]

Stuck in a real bad dream,
And that it feels so new to me
Should be in your arms, but i'm begging at your feet
It's been a real hard night
And I just hold my pillow tight
You won't love me back, no, it's not you and I

We're not lovers, but more than friends
Put our flame to every single word you ever said
No more crying, to get me through
I keep dancing til the morning with somebody new

Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Over you, o-over you

Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Over you, o-over you

We're not lovers, but more than friends
Put our flame to every single word you ever said
No more crying, to get me through
I keep dancing til the morning with somebody new
Tonight I'm getting over you
