They are happily planning a future together as husband and wife, but Abigail (Kate Mansi) will start becoming suspicious when Chad (Billy Flynn) suggests they elope instead of having their big dream wedding on Days of Our Lives.

They decided to marry and are making plans to buy out the DiMera mansion and live there with their son, but Chad has suddenly seemed intent on abandoning the plan to take things slow--and has even suggested they go to Paris in order to become husband and wife, and to do so immediately. Now, Abigail will demand answers about why he's changing his mind.  

Chad may not come clean however because his motives have to do with Andre's (Thaao Penghlis) assertions that Hope (Kristian Alfonso), who is Abigail's second cousin, killed their father, Stefano. Andre has revealed he has proof and evidence that Hope used Bo's gun to shoot and kill him, and that Rafe (Galen Gerig) helped her cover it up--and he wants revenge. Chad has told Andre he wants no part of the plan, even told his brother of the plans to buy the house out from him and kick him to the curb so he could live there with Abigail. However, to assure his brother cannot drag him into his mess, he thinks leaving town is a good idea--and coming back married will be his best defense against future attempts by Andre to manipulate him.

However, Abigail will likely be hesitant to leave, as she is not only adamant about having the wedding of her dreams, but because she has been warned numerous times not to necessarily trust Chad--and she could want to hold out on the wedding to assure herself that he will be a true companion and father to their son before she makes anything official.  

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
