It looks like there's a good reason why Dakota Johnson has been single for the last several months now. The Hollywood actress revealed that men have simply been scared of her because of her role as Anastasia Steele in the hugely popular big screen film, 50 Shades of Grey.
Dakota Johnson Is The Fashion World's New Muse
According to the Daily Record on Wednesday, the brunette beauty says she's had almost zero luck in the love department because men think she's intimidating.
She explained, "Some people think this is something I'm interested in, in my private life, which is not the case. I'm an actor... I pretend. But I guess it's something that happens with a lot of actors - people think that in real life they are like the characters they play."
Johnson also says that she's enjoying the single life and that she's not feeling pressured to find love. The actress broke up with Welsh singer Matt Hitt last year.
She added, "I haven't really been on a lot of dates. I've only been in long-term relationships."
But as far as finding love online, don't expect Johnson to go on any dating websites just yet.
"I can't say that I have ever been tempted," she says. "I've heard stories of people meeting the loves of their lives online and that's great. But it freaks me out."
