Now that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s autopsy results have revealed there was no foul play in her tragic passing, her longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon wants the District Attorney to drop the investigation on the case.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Autopsy Results Unsealed, Is This What Really Caused Her Death?

Gordon’s legal team, Jose Baez and Joe Habachy urged the Fulton County District Attorney, Paul Howard, to “tell the truth” after Bobbi Kristina’s autopsy showed that she drowned with drugs like marijuana in her system when she was found unconscious in the bathtub of her and Gordon’s condo last year.

Why Is Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Estate Suing Her Aunt Pat Houston & Grandmother Cissy Houston?

“By failing to acknowledge that there is simply no evidence of any wrongdoing, they have in essence helped feed the slanderous media frenzy regarding Nick Gordon,” they said in a statement according to USA Today Tuesday. “The right thing for the district attorney’s office to do right now is to tell the public the truth…that this was an accident…or even a suicide, but not a murder.”

They went on to point out that Gordon has been “publicly humiliated” ever since the incident on Jan. 31.

They also called out the District Attorney for trying “to make Nick a murderer despite having clear and convincing evidence that Bobbi Kristina’s death was nothing more than a tragic accident.”

But a rep for the official said, “Mr. Howard does not have a comment.”

While Gordon hasn’t been officially charged, it’s no secret he has been a person-of-interest in the case as police tried to figure out what really happened to Bobbi Kristina. In fact, her estate actually filed a civil “wrongful death” lawsuit and claimed that he gave her a “toxic cocktail” that led to her drowning. They are suing him for $10 million.
