In addition to tension over their custody battle, Evans and Griffith are also at odds due to a battery and assault case against Evans filed by Griffith's girlfriend, Jessica Henry, who claimed to have been hit in the head with a cup thrown by Evans in August 2015.

“For mediation, it would be Jenelle and Nathan in a room with a legal authority overseeing their talks,” the source continued.

As the Radar Online report noted, Evans is also taking Griffith to court in an effort to get him to pay child support to her for their son.

“She thinks he owes her something,” the source said. “He was getting over $3,000 a month in 2014. It’s called ‘compensation’ for being ‘disabled’ as a result of his deployment.”
