Jenelle Evans Boyfriend: 'Teen Mom 2' Parties, Skips Nathan Griffith Custody Meeting [VIDEO]

Jenelle Evans wants custody of her youngest son, 1-year-old Kaiser, but unfortunately, she just missed out on a major meeting to make it happen.

Although the Teen Mom 2 star was scheduled to attend a court hearing with ex-fiance Nathan Griffith earlier this week, she remained in New York City, where she and her co-stars had been filming the reunion and after show specials, and was photographed enjoying champagne just one day before she was supposed to be in North Carolina to fight for custody.

"Nathan went [on Monday]," his attorney Megan Milliken told Radar Online on Tuesday. "He drove several hours to be at the mediation orientation."

However, due to an alleged illness, Evans was unable to fly, and remained in the Big Apple, where she was photographed enjoying a drink with her friends and co-stars.

"I got notification the day before from her attorney that she was too sick to fly," Milliken said. "And then she was on television last night all dolled up and on Instagram drinking Champagne."

Meanwhile, sources close to Evans claimed she didn't feel well over the weekend, but was "forced" to film by MTV.

"Jenelle was in bed all day and they were threatening her that refusing to film was against her contract," the source said. "Jenelle feels like their puppet and they didn't care how she felt."

As for what Griffith thought of her missing out on their hearing, his attorney explained, "I don't want to speak for how he was feeling, but I don't think anybody was surprised."

On Sunday, Evans spoke to PEOPLE Magazine about her relationship with Griffith, claiming they often butt heads due to his alleged jealousy.

"Every time we talk, he doesn't even really ask about Kaiser," Evans said of Griffith. "He just asks how I'm doing and what I'm up to lately ... I don't think he is sure of his current relationship, or he hasn't let go [of me] yet."
