Finding Carter fans have something to be happy about this week.

After the series got canceled from television after only two seasons, a petition was created, which viewers have been singing non-stop. Even though this doesn't guarantee any promises, if that petition keeps getting signatures, it's still bound to cause some attention.

And right now, fans can rejoice a little bit more, because as of Tuesday, the petition has reached more than 10,000 signatures.

Despite whatever happens next, all the fans out there should be very proud of themselves.

If the series were to ever make a comeback, one important storyline to think about is what's next for Max following the murder of Jared. Alex Saxon (who played Max) spoke to TV Insider on what he would like to see happen for his character as he's put behind bars.

"I think there's a lot to be explored about what would happen if Max went to jail and went where his dad has spent much of Max's life; how he would regress and how he would change," Saxon said. "I'd like to think part of why Max is so empathetic to everybody around him and conscious of taking care of people and not hurting anybody is because he knows the evil, the darkness, that's out there."

The actor then dished on how this would affect Taylor, someone who Max has had an intense relationship with.

"She obviously doesn't want him to go to jail and have his life shattered anymore," Saxon said. "She's also relatively rational and knows right from wrong. I think. There's probably a part of her that knows that was the right thing to do."
