The 1990s are back, and the decade of tamagotchis and Furbys is setting up camp on Girl Meets World.

The Disney Channel next-gen spinoff gets frequent visitors from Boy Meets World's heyday, and season 3 will throwback to ABC's TGIF with Family Matters' Reginald VelJohnson.

VelJohnson spent nine seasons playing the Wilson patirarch, and while he won't appear as Carl, the actor will don a cop's uniform once more. Click here to check out the first photos of Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Riley (Rowan Blanchard), and VelJohnson's unnamed character.

Are the teens in trouble? Now that the girls are in high school, their lives will get just that much more complicated. Maya, for one, is a little worried about leaving John Quincy Adams Middle behind.

"Maya is a lot like me in the way that she doesn't want to grow up. She's so mature and very wise, [so] you'd think she'd be ready to fly out of the nest, but she's actually quite content where she is," Carpenter told TV Insider. "She knows that all of her friends are incredible right now. She's very lucky to have the people that she has in her life, and she's scared of losing them."

It is currently unknown what episode VelJohnson will appear in. So far, Girl Meets World have announced the following titles:

Episode 1: "Girl Meets High School Part 1"

Episode 2: "Girl Meets High School Part 2"

Episode 3: "Girl Meets Jexica"

Episode 4: "Girl Meets She Don't Like Me"

Episode 5: "Girl Meets Triangle"

Episode 6: "Girl Meets Upstate"

Episode 7: "Girl Meets Ski Lodge"

Episode 8: "Girl Meets Permanent Record"
