American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez will be in two episodes of Glee, playing a power singer from a rival high school.

Sanchez, 17, from the 11th season of American Idol, will begin filming in April and she will be in two episodes including the season finale on May 9, according to Hollywood Life.

The publication reports that Sanchez will be going after Finn Hudson, played by Cory Monteith. The singer is also working on the upcoming April 30 release of her debut album, Me, You and the Music.

Sanchez told People, "It's going to be a very busy month for me. I'm very excited because I've never acted before. I really want to meet [Naya Rivera]. She's got that attitude and I love it."

Sanchez has been attending dance classes since her time on American Idol last year and is dating fellow season 11 contestant DeAndre Brackensick, 18.

She said of their relationship, "We have a balance. We understand each other's schedules so it is not so needy. It's very good."

In the last season, Lea Michele and Chris Cofler's characters moved to New York City. There have been discussions about a New York City spin-off, but so far all that is confirmed is a fifth season, according to Perez Hilton.
