Everyone's favorite viral celebrity celebrated his birthday on Monday.

Daniel Lara, who became an Internet sensation after starring in the series of clips forever known as 'Damn Daniel,' turned 15 this week and took to Twitter to thank everyone who wished him a lovely day.

As a young teen, Lara has achieved more fame than some do in a lifetime with his famous video. 'Damn Daniel' shows Lara walking around school in different scenes where his friend Josh Holz records him and says the iconic phrase in his memorable voice.

The two teens ended up using their fame to give back based on a report from Los Angeles Daily News. The guys met with patients at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital to interact with fans and discuss the importance of being there for others.

"We thought it was important to do some charity work and give back to the local community," Lara said. "We're enjoying it. We're enjoying being here. This is a great experience."

"This is our community and we want to help out in any way we can," Holz added.

Considering that Lara wore white vans in the 'Damn Daniel' video, the shoe company participated in the charity by donating 100 pairs of vans to the patients.

"It's amazing that kids ages 14 and 16 would think of the Children's Hospital and give back to the community at such a young age," executive director of LLUCH Sherry Nolfe said. "To have that instilled in them is amazing, and we are very grateful for their visit."
