Farrah Abraham hit the red carpet during Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards with a familiar face: her ex-boyfriend Simon Saran.

Although the Teen Mom OG star claimed she and Saran are “just friends right now” during an interview at the show, explaining that they are currently working on their relationship, they sure looked quite lovey-dovey during the event.

“We’re growing up. We have so much to do in our relationship, but we’re here as friends today,” Abraham told Us Weekly on Sunday.

Abraham also joked, “I already wished [an engagement] would happen, but no.”

During filming on Teen Mom OG, Abraham told Saran that she did not want to wait any more than two years for an engagement, but unfortunately, an engagement never happened and the couple parted ways last year.

"I mean right now we are under Dr. Jenn's orders. Dr. Jenn is our therapist. Really just take it one day at a time right now," Abraham explained during a second interview with PEOPLE Magazine. "We are doing [therapy] on our own right now. You'll probably see that on the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG."

As she films the new season, Abraham is busy with her move to Los Angeles, and her daughter, Sophia.

"[I'm moving] hopefully Monday," Abraham revealed. "I just passed the house on the way here because it's by the studio so I'm like, I made the right choice. I really felt like for my personal life – to see my daughter happy at the beach and we can do so many other things while we're here, so to be closer to the beach is a big deal for us right now."

"What I'm most proud of is Sophia is really into fashion," Abraham continued. "She's opening up her own Sophia Laurent boutique store in Austin, Texas. She's mentioned in New York Fashion Week. She's in children model magazines. I'm so proud of Sophia and that doesn't even really impact her real life. She's just been so successful on her own so that's just awesome to me."
