Halle Berry Paparazzi Fight VIDEO: Restrains Olivier Martinez, "Whats Wrong With You People?" She Yells (WATCH)
Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry had an altercation with paparazzi at LAX Airport Monday night after they swarmed too close to get pictures of her with her daughter and fiancé.
In the video obtained by TMZ, Berry, 46, is heard yelling, "Get away! There's a child! What the f*ck is wrong with you people?"
Berry was being protective as she was holding her daughter, Nahla, 5, while exiting the airport with her fiancé, actor Olivier Martinez.
Martinez went after one photographer and reportedly kicked him until the The Call actress pulled him away and then shoved him inside a waiting SUV picking them up from the airport. The couple were returning from a family vacation, according to the report.
Berry recently reached out to her fellow Hollywood A-list friends to join her in a fight to push anti-paparazzi laws that would prevent photographers from taking photos of their children.
A source told New York Post's Page Six that Berry has already called Academy Award-winning actor and director Ben Affleck and his wife Jennifer Garner to join her in the cause. Berry is lobbying for the United States to make the ban that would be similar to anti-paparazzi laws in France where photographers are not allowed to take unauthorized pictures of celebrities' children.
Berry previously requested the right to move her daughter with her to France so she could live with her and her fiance Martinez, who is French, after they get married. The request was denied after Nahla's father, Gabriel Aubrey, refused to let her take their daughter there in their custody battle after they split.
Berry recently said in an interview that she will stay in the States until Nahla turns 18 and is old enough to make her own decisions.
"It probably won't be until my daughter is 18 and off to college," the Cloud Atlas star told the Daily Mail. "When Nahla turns 18, she'll be legally able to make her own decisions about where she wants to be and I think that then, when she's off on her own, we'll move there. It's where I want to end my days, that's for sure."
