Just a day after Halle Berry's publicist confirmed that the actress was indeed expecting, she was spotted taking a stroll in New York City showing off her baby bump.

The Call actress gave a slight peak of her pregnant stomach as she shopped with friends in the Big Apple. Berry, 46, was dressed casual and wore jeans, a dark-gray coat, avaitor sunglasses and a loose-fitted shirt.

News broke on April 5 that the Oscar-winning actress and her fiance, actor Olivier Martinez, were expecting a baby due later this year.

"We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a child," Berry's rep told Us Weekly, to which a source added, "She's elated."

Berry has a 5-year-old daughter named Nahla from a previous relationship with model Gabriel Aubry, who was involved in a physical fight with Martinez in November 2012. The actress admitted that Nahla was hoping for a sibling.

"That's the thing. [My daughter is] asking me," she said during an interview on The Wendy Williams Show.

"Every night we pray to God, and she's so sweet. She says, 'God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.' And I say, 'I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on. What do you say to her when she wants that and can't understand why God's taking so long, you know?"

A source told People that Berry getting pregnant "happened naturally."

Berry and Martinez have been dating for a little over two years and got engaged in 2012. She had an altercation with paparazzi at LAX airport on April 1 after photographers got too close to her and her daughter. She has not confirmed her pregnancy herself, but the news could explain why she was so protective about photographers bombarding her and her family. In a video obtained by TMZ, Berry is heard screaming, "Get away! There's a child! What the f*ck is wrong with you people?"
