After a year of waiting, the trailer for season two of Secrets and Lies has finally dropped, along with news that the show is officially on the fall schedule at ABC!

The series will return to its Sunday night 9 p.m. slot beginning this Fall (actual premiere date is still TBA), but even more exciting for fans who have been long-starved for action when it comes to the show is the fact that the trailer for season two has also been released, and the new season looks to be just as addicting as the one before it.

The new season brings back Detective Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis) as she invesitgates the murder of Kate Warner (Jordana Brewster), who was pushed off the roof of a building during a party honoring her husband Eric (Michael Ealy) taking over his father's (Terry O'Quinn) company. And despite his grief over his wife's murder, Eric will quickly find himself as Cornell's prime suspect in the murder, something his lawyer sister, Amanda (Mekia Cox) warns him of from the beginning.

Naturally, as Cornell's investigation continues, new clues will continue to surface which seem to indicate that Eric may have had reason to kill his wife after all, especially when she digs up something he never expected to learn about his wife.

"Did you know your wife withdrew $100,000?" Cornell asks in the trailer.

"What?" He replies

Then, knowing Cornell is on him and expects to arrest him, and knowing of her past which has led to innocent men going to prison, Eric will decide to launch his own investigation into what may have happened, and why Kate may have taken such a large sum of money. But as he also digs, he could only make himself look more guilty.

"No matter how much you dig, you'll never find anything to prove I killed my wife," he says.

Secrets and Lies season 2 premieres this fall on ABC.
