Blindspot's Kurt Weller is not a happy camper. If anything, the FBI agent is feeling incredibly betrayed.

The Taylor Shaw reveal hit Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) like a ton of bricks. There was nothing to soften the blow as he pulled a young skeleton from the past, and, as the season finale came to a close, you could imagine steam billowing from his ears.

"I think he's so angry. He's the most angry he's ever been," series creator Martin Gero told Entertainment Weekly. "A lot of that is projected anger about his father lying to him and realizing that his father is a murderer, and that he's lived with 25 years with this false hope that he could ever find Taylor again."

For Weller, it feels like someone is launching an attack on his entire world. Why else would Jane (Jaimie Alexander) purposefully deceive him? It's a good question, and one that would be better posed to Oscar. Too bad he's sporting the latest in lumberjack fashion.

Instead, Weller will have to take his anger out on Jane.

"I think it's brutal in those final moments when he's arresting Jane and he's saying, 'I let him back into my life because of you. I let him around Sawyer.' It's a very personal thing," Gero explained. "Regardless of whatever Jane's plan is, he could also give a s- about that plan right now. The repercussions about his personal life because of the lies Jane said to him, they're infuriating to him. He's a level 11 angry."

It's too bad Jane's role in this little bit of subterfuge was smaller than Weller can even begin to comprehend. As strong as the tattooed enigma is, she was merely Oscar's pawn when it comes to playing her potential beau. Now, fans will have to put a pin in the Jeller romance as well.

Can Weller forgive Jane? Find out when Blindspot brings a few major reveals to NBC this fall.
