The upcoming second season of Netflix's Bloodline will be going at a brisk pace, according to star Sissy Spacek.

Spacek, who plays Rayburn family matriarch Sally on the Florida Keys drama, appeared at the season 2 premiere event on Tuesday and previewed what fans should expect.

"This season starts and it doesn't let up. It moves fast," Spacek told Variety at the event.

The actress previously admitted in an interview that she binge-watched the whole second season in a day, praising the show's addictive quality.

"The only thing that's frustrating about it is it takes us so long to shoot a season. And then, I watched this [Season 2] in one day. I couldn't stop....It was like candy. And so I go, 'Oh no. I have to wait another year to see the third season.' -- If there is one. Hopefully there will be," the actress said.

The first season definitely left things off with a bang, with John (Kyle Chandler) having killed Danny (Ben Mendelsohn). John, Meg (Linda Cardellini) and Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz) are desperate to keep this secret, and this will lead nicely into season 2.

"The remaining siblings are trying to deal with what's happened," Cardellini previewed at the premiere event. "They're in survival mode."

Much of the drama from Bloodline comes in what's left unsaid - the familial tensions, the steely silences and the furtive glances. Chandler spoke about how the series excels in these unspoken moments.

The actor praised the show's "fly on the wall aspect," noting, "It's not just what's written or what's said; it's just as much the silence in between the lines and what's not said as a way of telling the story. The audience gets a chance to live with the characters more that way."

Bloodline season 2 is set for release this Friday on Netflix.
