After hearing from Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) out of the blue and explaining her current predicament to her, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will decide to visit her old friend on Days of Our Lives, but will be shocked by who she finds at Chloe's house.

Thanks to Kate (Lauren Koslow) setting her up for a crime she herself committed, Nicole is the prime suspect in the presumed murder of Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry), and she doesn't appear to have a fighting chance at proving her innocence. No body has turned up yet either, which is also making things difficult for her. However, when she arrives at Chloe's and sees Deimos alive and in the flesh, she will be stunned by the turn of events.

She will quickly learn about Deimos and Chloe's own tangled history, and could learn that the two have since given in to passion again. But more shocking will be the fact that Deimos has been alive this whole time, and is the exact proof Nicole needs to clear herself of the entire crime, even a charge of attempted murder. And now that Chloe and Deimos know Nicole is being framed by Kate for a crime Deimos knows the truth about, they will be willing to help her out in whatever way they can.

Deimos knows Kate was the one who hit him, causing him to hit a tree before he stumbled into the river. Realizing she assumed he was dead, he knows she is using the crime to frame Nicole since she was the one who stood in the way when it came to his plans to marry Kate for power and money, but not love. And though a part of him is still furious with Nicole for tricking him into falling for her because of her resemblance to the long dead Helena, he will be more angered by Kate trying to kill him. And after some slight begging on Nicole's part he will agree to do the right thing and come back to Salem to help her prove her innocence.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
