After suffering back-to-back loses for the first time in his illustrious 18-year career, retribution appears to be on the mind of boxing standout Manny Pacquiao.

International Business Times reported that out of the four names under consideration by promoter Bob Arum for a fight with him, the Filipino boxer has just one preference for an opponent - Juan Manuel Marquez.

Opposing Views stated that Arum allegedly made the announcement that Pacquiao would next be stepping inside the ring in October in either Macau or Singapore.

The Filipino standout recently suffered a sixth-round KO to Marquez in 2012, which seemingly halted anticipation of a fight between himself and the undefeated Floyd Mayweather.

Nonetheless, with his stock currently at a high, Marquez is looking for a hefty $20 million payday if he should step into the ring with Pacquiao for the fifth time.

However, Boxing Scene speculated that the former may be much more interested in taking on WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley.

Marquez aside, Bradley could very well turn out to be Pacquiao's next opponent, as well as Mike Alvarado.

However, the Manila Standard Today reported that Bradley prefers to face Marquez instead, but realizes he can draw more money in a rematch with Pacquiao.

Bradley was recently victorious in his first title defense against Ruslan Provodnikov in March. A match with Pacquiao could serve to quiet naysayers who felt that the split decision he won over the Pacquiao could've easily gotten him a loss instead.

Interesting to note, Alvarado, 32, rebounded from the only loss of his career to Brandon Rios via unanimous decision.

CBS 4 Denver reported that they spoke to Alvarado's manager Henry Delgado, and a Pacquiao versus Alvarado match will likely take place in October.
