Ed Hartwell has responded to his estranged wife, Keshia Knight Pulliam’s shocking allegations against him that included claims that he attempted to cause harm to her and make her miscarry their child amid their divorce drama.

Pulliam made the accusations during their court battle and Hartwell responded in documents of his own that he submitted to the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia, US Weekly reported Wednesday.

Hartwell said he “emphatically denies that he ‘purposely misled’ anyone about [Pulliam’s] pregnancy” after he asked for a paternity test to prove the child is indeed his.

Hartwell added that Pulliam, “should be ashamed of herself for ever making such false and offensive allegations.”

He went on to shut down claims that he has tried to benefit from their drama in the public eye.

“The Plaintiff [Hartwell] emphatically denies that he has exhibited despicable character and egregious demeanor by giving interviews to the media for financial gain. The Plaintiff would like remind the Defendant [Pulliam] that she is the person who sat for an interview which was aired over a two (2) day period following the filing of her Answer to this Complaint.”

As for Pulliam’s statement that he cheated, Hartwell said, “He is not involved in a relationship with anyone.”

Hartwell has also hinted that Pulliam was unfaithful.

When it comes to Pulliam’s suggestion that Hartwell gets professional help, Hartwell said, “If either party has been mentally and emotionally abusive toward the other, it is [Pulliam].”
