Eden Sassoon has joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season seven.

As production continues, the daughter of the late hair icon Vidal Sassoon has confirmed she's been filming with the returning members of the cast, including Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi and Eileen Davidson.

"I can confirm that I've been filming," Sassoon told E! News on Thursday. "I'm not telling you if I'm a Housewife or a friend yet, but it's been a blast so far."

"[Eden] and Lisa Rinna have mutual friends, and her family has a history with Lisa Vanderpump," a source told the outlet. "Eden's father used to come into the restaurants all the time. Since filming started, she and Lisa Rinna have gotten really close."

For season seven, Sassoon has reportedly been brought to the show to fill one of the empty spots left by former cast members Yolanda Hadid and Kathryn Edwards

"I thought I was a badass bitch, but this is going to be a tough crowd to keep up with... Don't worry though, I got this!" Sassoon explained.

According to the report, Sassoon is a 43 year-old single mother of two who owns a hair salon and a pilates studio. Sassoon is also known for her sober lifestyle.

"Each season, someone new seems to come in and shake things up a bit, so we do have a little shift this season and it's interesting," Richards previously told E! News.
