Dragon Ball Super episode 59 will be introducing Blackmasu, who is a fusion between Black Goku and Zamasu. With the fusion underway, Goku's fate might be sealed.

While Dragon Ball Super is nearing the climax of the ongoing Future Trunks arc, numerous fans are speculating that the anime would feature the final villain of the story, who would be no less than the fusion of the arc's two main villains, Zamasu and Black Goku.

Recently, rumors have emerged stating that several key events in Dragon Ball Super would happen within the next few episodes. Among these events would be the eventual death of present-day Zamasu and the fusion of future Zamasu and Black Goku.

Between the two rumors, the former has been supported by numerous fans, since present-day Zamasu's pursuit of the Super Dragon Balls and immortality has made him into a sinister villain who is up there with the likes of Frieza and Cell. Thus, there is a pretty good indication that he would fall under the hand of the God of Destruction himself, Beerus.

If the rumors do prove true and present-day Zamasu is killed by Beerus, Future Zamasu would surely be far more difficult to destroy, especially since he is allied with Black Goku. After all, Zamasu's immortal body and Black Goku's insane Super Saiyan Rose form are already enough to make them very formidable.

Once they are fused together, however, they would create something far more powerful. In fact, they might end up creating something that rivals the powers of Gods of Destruction themselves.  With Son Goku, Future Trunks and Vegeta preparing once more to battle Zamasu and Black Goku, the impending clash in the anime has gotten extremely intense.

If Future Zamasu and Black Goku do fuse, it would most probably require the Z fighters to initiate a fusion of their own. In the Dragon Ball mythos, fusions are almost used in the story like a Deus Ex Machina. Considering how powerful Zamasu and Black Goku have become, a little Deus Ex Machina would definitely not hurt.
